10 Days Rwanda Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari Tour
Day 1: Kigali-Volcanoes Gorilla Park
On arrival, you will meet our guide at the airport and takes you for the city tour around Kigali; you will visit Genocide memorials, craft shop, and local market. Thereafter, drive to Volcanoes National Park. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel Muhabura
Day 2: Mountain Bisoke hike.
Early in the morning, you will gather at the park headquarters where you will meet your hiking guides. After a short briefing from them, you will then start on your hike on Mountain Bisoke. The hike to the top might take 3 or 4 hours depending on the strength and fitness of the hikers. Upon reaching the top, you will then descend back and transfer to your lodge for relaxation. Return to the lodge for dinner and Overnight. Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day 3: Golden Monkey tracking- Lake bunyonyi
Have breakfast early morning and proceed for golden monkey tracking, you will see other, fauna and flora. Finally get face to face with the beautiful golden monkeys. You will see them play as they jump from one branch of tree to the other all this will be fun and memorable for your African adventure tour. After lunch, embark the safari truck and transfer to Uganda via Cyanika border and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and then relax at the shores of Lake Bunyonyi staying at Bunyonyi Overland.
Day 4: Lake Bunyonyi Boat Cruise and Visit the Batwa.
Have breakfast, and after take canoe cruise along the deepest Crater Lake
in Uganda visiting some of the beautiful dotted islands. You will visit the Batwa tribe a small community around the area; they used to stay in Bwindi Forest National Park before it was gazetted. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Overland.
Day 5: Uganda Gorilla Tracking
Briefing by park ranger guides. After enter the forest to find the Mountain gorillas. The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas were the previous day. After a full hour with the gorillas return to lodge for dinner and overnight at Gorilla Mist Camp.
Day 6: Bwindi-Queen Elizabeth National Park through Ishasha sector.
Take breakfast and set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey takes you through beautiful land escape. Go through Ishasha sector by chance you may sport tree climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at bush lodge.
Day 7: Game Drive & Boat Cruise
After a cup of coffee embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi tracks look for various wildlife species like the African big five (Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Leopards) and other animals, in the Queens’s mile in the park and also enjoy the unique two hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water’s edge. Return to lodge and relax as you wait for your African cuisine dinner and overnight at bush lodge.
Day 8: Kyambura Gorge walk-Kibale Forest National Park
Have early breakfast and drive to Kyambura Gorge nearby to track the fast moving and elusive wild chimpanzees, one of man’s closest relations. Kyambura Gorge harbors habituated chimpanzees. Have Lunch, after transfer to Kibale Forest National Park with the fabled view of Mountain of the moon, dinner and overnight at Kibale forest camp.
Day 9: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Walk
Early morning after breakfast drive to Kanyanchu, Kibale Park Headquarters, before 8.00 am for chimpanzee trekking. Kibale forest harbors other primates including the Red-tailed and grey-cheeked Mangabeys, Blue and Red-Columbus’s in addition to chimps, never the less the many beautiful birds species, butterflies plus many small insects as well. A visit to Bigodi swamp eco-tourism site given its astounding flora and fauna will be a time worth adventure too. Dinner and overnight at Kibale forest camp.
Day 10: Kibale -Entebbe Departure
After breakfast, embark on the safari vehicle and drive back to Kampala with stop to the Uganda Equator for lunch and cultural markets to buy souvenir’s to take home and then transfer to Entebbe airport, End of service.
